ZanaAfrica Foundation

Health education is a precious commodity: in East Africa nearly four out of five girls do not have access to it.

Lacking information about reproduction but also about their rights, they are too often exposed to unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, sexual violence and mutilation.

ZanaAfrica foundation has set itself the goal of providing young girls with informed and simple information on reproduction, menstrual health management and women's right to freely dispose of their bodies.

Since 2013, more than 50,000 girls have received health education, sanitary pads, underwear and mentors.

By offering young girls access to education, ZanaAfrica gives them the opportunity to build their future.
